Corrected.
The first generation was individual threads for only one event. The second generation was threads for press releases from bus companies. The third generation was threads for press releases on a quarterly basis. The fourth generation was threads for press releases on a yearly basis.
We are now in the fourth generation.
The first idea of the fifth generation of press releases threads was to have them in parts, where the first thread accumulates two thousand replies, before the second thread is created. However, this was rejected by the moderators as they feel that it is not wise to combine many years of press releases into one thread.
I have a new idea on the fifth generation of press releases thread. This new idea moves away from the tradition of posting only press releases. Besides press releases, we could post news articles, blog articles, etcetera. Besides buses, we could extend our coverage to trains, since bus and train complement each other. Meanwhile, the threads remain on a yearly basis.
This new idea may encourage a more active discussion, as discussions are not limited to only the press releases. Whenever there is an online article, any article, about buses and trains, we can discuss about it.
This new idea is not intended to replace the other discussion threads. It is only meant for recording (a greater variety of) online articles and having casual discussions about the articles. For content-specific discussions, we can have them at the other discussions threads.
What do you think of this idea?
If you have an idea on how to improve on this idea, or another idea on the fifth generation of press releases thread, do write it here.
Thank you for taking time to read this reply.

I wonder why it took so long for 43M and 53M to call at the bus stops... Just because they are not on 43/53's route? They should have just called at all the bus stops along the route way earlier just like 98M and 143M.
Off-Topic a bit but then...
Two former SBS Transit Buses... I know one former bus is Volvo DM3500 Mark IV... The other one is a Volvo Olympian ah?

there are new SBST services that turned WAB yesterday & till now, no press release at SBST website

It may be more useful for them to list the bus services that are still non-WAB (though of course they wouldn't want to do so).
Let's see:
8, 10e, 23, 37, 81, 84, 160, 170/170A, 191, 193, 262, 401, 408, and other random premium / special services.
