Relocation of Clementi interchange affecting SMRT service 173, with effect from 29 October 2006.
From Sunday, 29 October 2006, the existing Clementi Interchange will be relocated to the opposite side along Clementi Ave 3. As such, SMRT service 173 will be amended to loop at Berth 1 of the new temporary interchange. Please refer to the accompanying map for more details. -

SBS Transit launches "Flag the Bus Early" campaign
SINGAPORE : The SBS Transit has placed signs at 100 selected bus stops across Singapore, encouraging passengers to flag the bus early.
This will help bus captains stop at a timely manner and to ensure a smoother and safer ride for those onboard.
The operator has launched the public education campaign after receiving complaints that bus captains drove off from bus stops without picking up passengers.
Its subsequent investigations found that many commuters missed the bus because they often flagged too late.
Commuters can also pick up brochures on safe bus stop practices at 16 bus interchanges. - CNA /ls -

Correct. You never flag, how the BC know you want to take the bus? Then if bus never stop, complain. If the BC stop and then scold for not flagging, complain. BC jam brake because bugger flag at the last minute, complain. As bus enthusiasts, I feel that we should do our part. Flag bus in advance, be it slow or fast. Press bell in advance. Move to the rear. etc. etc. etc.

What i encounter are always the bus...zoomed.....pass, when i flag abit too slow...
not my fault leh...the advert should be buses please slow down when approaching bus stops not ask people to flag bus early.

Another thing is that poster always came up at bs stops/Int bef the poster is released on SBST website...
