Temporary Bus Diversions in Marina Centre
9 SBS Transit bus services will be temporary diverted on Saturday, 7 July, due to road closure in Marina Centre. This is to facilitate the National Day Celebrations Committee's vetting of the National Day Parade 2007.
From 8.00am to 11.00pm, Republic Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic.
From 8.00am to noon, the right carriageway of Raffles Avenue will remain passable to bus services -- Services 36, 56, 97, 111, 133, 195 and 502. These services will continue on their regular routes except Services 56 and 195 which will be diverted to loop at Temasek Avenue. These 7 Services will, however, not call at the two bus stops located before Temasek Avenue and opposite The Oriental Singapore.
From noon to 11.00pm, Raffles Avenue will be completely closed to vehicular traffic. As a result, Services 36, 56, 70#, 97, 111, 133, 162#, 195 and 502 will be diverted and will also not call at the three bus stops located along Raffles Avenue.
Commuters travelling to and from the said area can board and alight at the bus stops in front of Suntec Convention Centre or Pan Pacific Hotel.
Commuters are likely to experience service disruption in the area and we seek their understanding.

(Note: On Saturdays, Service 70# will turn into Marina Centre from 6.15pm, while Service 162# from 1.16pm. Hence, the diversion for these two services will be applicable from the times when they turn into Marina Centre.)
