Shall we continue here?
All, service 381 has 13 bus stops in each direction. Total journey estimated 36 min.
For a person taking it at the bus stop outside interchange/mrt/waterway point, it will be 8 bus stops to Punggol east end. This will be equivalent to around 11 min. Quite an appropriate journey for its main purpose of serving residents at Punggol east end.
Good that it makes use of the unused bus stops at waterway point that it manages another great purpose in the Punggol field/way/central loop for those people who needs a direct bus without walking and for wet weather purposes. Cheers. Thanks.
As expected 381 connects Punggol Plaza to Punggol East and DOES NOT go the entire route of Punggol Central. Another good move is connecting Waterway Point mall directly. This was needed as with shopping bags it is a considerable walk to interchange.
There should be good loading on this service primarily on account of its connection directly to Waterway Point.

Sv 119 really no business liao.
Hi mr sbs6750E, why did they choose same date of implementation as 374? Is there any more to come? Hope so! Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr busanalayser, good one. Shut out Punggol drive completely. Reduce duplication with LRT (damai, oasis, kadaloor).
Purposely diverted off backend of Punggol central but still cannot totally avoid the backend. Because in the end still bypass Punggol east (blk 166 and riveria LRT) which is just mere metres away from backend of Punggol central. So effectively only skip those at third stop of Punggol central (opp blk 188 and blk 622 portion). Cheers. Thanks.
Wonder if Samudera LRT would open on that day too
much better for edgefield which only had 136

Hi mr hgdep103, that edgefield stop is just 150 metres away from the bus stop at Punggol field cove LRT side which has 3, 62, 83 and 136. Anyway it is good for the edgefield stop blk 196. Cheers. Thanks.

I didn't expect 381 to go one big round via Soo Teck leh. But good route anyways.
Act like Townlink/Intratown you call it..I predict will get a few DDs in future.

I don't think LTA is interested in giving DDs to feeders. They first want to bring the frequency to 03-05 minutes interval for peak so that waiting time is less. Flawed logic as it causes more bunching and traffic at interchange and on roads. People still wait 07-08 minutes and then have 2 buses come together.
So is 500 coming true or just speculation

If it's not among the next two or three new services originating from Compassvale, then it's probably scrapped.

Last few days I overheard some "important " people talking about a new service - SV137 . 137 will be based in East coast terminal . From why I heard 137 will pass by marine parade , bedok south , new upp changi, bedok north , bedok Ave and more . It will start operating around April . However i dont really know the final terminal as yhe "important" people didnt say it out loud . The interesting is that it will pass by Bedok north street 3 , where only 225w served . Seem like a alternative is coming to the resident there .

I thought the number 137 is reserved for the Ubi service?
And is there even a Bedok Ave?
