Service 169 to operate from new Ang Mo Kio Interchange
From 28th April, Service 169 will operate from Berth 4 of the new Ang Mo Kio Interchange.
The service will discontinue from the temporary bus interchange along AMK Ave 8 & will no longer serve the pair of bus stops outside Jubilee building.
Passengers may contact SMRT Customer Relations at 1800-336 8900 for more information. -

Roads Closed, Buses Diverted For Run
Roads around Esplanade Drive will be closed to vehicles from 2.30pm to 8pm today for the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge Run. The roads affected include Connaught Drive, Esplanade Drive & various stretches of Raffles Avenue.
Bus service to the area will be temporarily diverted too. For information on the diversions, contact SMRT Customer Relations on 1800-336-8900. -

Flagging confidence in local buses, taxis
"... I find it incomprehensible that the SMRT considers buses to be merely complementary to train service. And too many bus services have been withdrawn due to the opening up of MRT stations along their routes. That should not be the case. Public transportation companies like SBS and SMRT must consider public buses as alternatives to trains, so that consumers have a choice. Let the consumers decide the mode of transport they wish to use to get to their destination.
Also, are air-conditioned bus terminals really necessary? Is the added cost being passed on to commuters? Are operators looking at other ways to cut costs? ..." -
ROAD CLOSURE AT MARINA SOUTH (SUNDAY 20 MAY 2007)
The Oakley City Duathlon 2007 which is a joint event organized by Enterprise Sports Group and the Triathlon Association of Singapore, will be held on Sunday, 20 May 2007.
Roads along the marathon route will be closed to all vehicular traffic on 20 May 2007 from 5.00 a.m. to 11.45 a.m.
The following roads leading to Marina South will be affected:
• Marina Station Road
• Marina Street
• Marina Place
• Marina Boulevard
• Marina Park
• Marina Way
• Marina Mall
• Marina Grove
• Marina Coastal Drive
Affected service(s): 400 and 402. -
