  Today, I upload a 98MB AVI video from my hypercam that lasts from Bedok - Kembangan (Takes about 2 ~ 3 minutes) on Youtube and got error. Personally, I find that it took far too long to upload and wonder what is the best setting for recording videos?

  Try converting the AVI file to WMV, or MP4 first.

  I think my videos have more MB than yours...(Not too sure) Anyway try compressing it to WMV with Windows Movie Maker.
