  Norton very "noisy" when scanning....also Norton can't detect some virus/trojan....I think free AVG is the best choice.

  You need to pay to use norton, so if the free ones are better than norton, something isn't right.

  I've tried 3 anti-virus softwares: Norton, TrendMicro, AVG....AVG can detect 2 new viruses while the other two can't.

  norton is 1 of the worst, kasperky is much better, microsoft essential is good enough for me n its free

  avira antivirus lor.. they got free. i am been using it for few years already. their memory usage very low not like norton or what ..hahaha

  they now very complicated leh plus they now selling anti-virus too so maybe the free one not so good liao............

  Yep it's good enough. A google online will answer all your doubts. You can search the tests done by independent AV labs on it's security too.

  the AVG PC Tune-up is USD30 for a year...............i tried it for today and it found over 1000 problems with my PC.................my PC only 3 days old !!!!!

  could it be bullshit from AVG ???

  The best one is NOD32, but its not free. I loved using the old old old version, it was a plain simple GUI.
