What Browser is best for watching Youtube?
I mean, which browser is fastest?
Can the choice of browser beat office firewalls?
Which Browser is best for general surfing?
Which Browser do you use and why do you prefer this over others?
Thanks for your imputs...
the best for me is firefox
Browsers are there to display information transmitted over the internet. Firewalls are there to check all information coming from the internet. So, Firewall > Browser.
Trying to go FB or watch porn in office issit?

Hi idwar,
I believe that Google Chrome is one of the fastest - if not fastest - browser right now. Many of my friends switched to using it from Internet Explorer or Firefox because of its speed in loading web-pages.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.
gotta say firefox..
For me, it depends. I use Chrome most of the time, but Firefox in situations where CHrome won't run.
Chrome is good if you are only going to use 2-3 tabs (Low-end machine) to 5-6 tabs (relatively powerful PC). Once you go over that, Chrome tends to take up more resources given that each tab is a separate process. Useful though, since sometimes Windows will close a process cos it "did something funny", and if you had 8+ tabs in FireFox, *boom*. Gone. Then you have to wait a while to load all the pages again. For Chrome, only the tab that "did something funny" is closed.
firefox best for me
Firefox especially if it comes with Greasemonkey though I do from time to time use Chrome like downloading stuff which IDM cannot work on the site. Chrome use to load very fast and problemless during pre v4 era. Ever since my Chrome has been updated to v4, for some reason some websites take longer than usual to load or it simply returns a page not found page when it is at Google Image Search page.
Well that was for me and I was really that close to dump Firefox and move to Chrome when extensions is released but looks like I am sticking with Firefox...

Hi soleachip,
Google Chrome does not have a Google Toolbar as of the current moment. If you wish to use the Google Toolbar, you will have to switch back to using FireFox.
Cheers.

Hello
I use Opera browser because I feel it is load webpages faster (excluding javascripts) and it just feels a little less laggier than Firefox.
Chrome is good if you use it for a few tabs, I opened many tabs before in Chrome but it is terribly laggy and takes sometime when you switch the tabs.

Im running vista. my favourite would be safari, i normally open about 12 tabs at once and there are no lags at all. chrome is not bad either, but i don't like the blue theme.
switched from IE to FF, and no probs so far, so not gonna change atm. . .
IE is effing terrible sia

The code for IE is bloated and highly inefficient.
I don't know which should I call the best web browser, since I find Chrome, Firefox and Opera to be really good. But ask any web developer which is the worst, and he/she will not hesitate to tell you it's Internet Explorer (though since IE8, it has been trying to catch up with the web standards).

Depends. Chrome uses up much more memory as compared to other web browsers in exchange for optimum performance and access time, so it really shines on systems with lots of memory.
