I usually connect to the internet through my bro's comp which haf the linksys router and modem. My com haf this wireless usb tt enables me to connect. But when i came home todae, i can't connect to the internet and msn ALTHOUGH the icon below says Connected and the signal strength is strong. It also says tt i am connected to the access point but cannot connect to internet. HELP URGENT

Restart the router.
Turn it off, wait for a few minutes, then turn it back on.

yup, or if that doesnt works, try checking your anti-virus's firewall OR router's firewall.

and if that fails as well, time to get a new router...

I have a usb wireless plug on my PC too.
When I start my comp, it showed limited connections
I dunno why, maybe some guru will advise.
Below steps works for me..

If wireless icon at botton right screen
Step 1. Point your mouse on the wireless network icon,
Step 2. click on right mouse button
Step 3. click repair
Otherwise Click Start menu, control panel , network connection,
wireless network goto step 1, 2, 3

Happens after cold boot? Meaning after you just turn on both PC and router? Or after you just turn on PC? Or after you just turn on router?

Does waiting a while works? Or do you always need to repair the connection despite waiting for a while?
