Go to this website and suggest names for upcoming DTL STage 3
So that's mean DTL2 stations name confirmed? I hope I vote the stations name for DTL2...
Anyway for DTL3 (this survey) Can I use fake name? And what's the requirement? The age?
Oh yea, the "Queen" of this sgforums has created the thread of regarding DTL3 survey.....

DTL2 names confirmed.
You can't.
Use your real name only.
No requirements.
See previous line above.
My suggestions which I posted to LTA, except for Tampines ones which I left blank:
Post restored:
Please see my file with full name and rationale for it:

Submitted. I took 30 min about this survey
Most difficulty to think the station names: DT31 and DT33
LTA: "Take a minute to fill up our short surveys!"
I have not submit yet. Still thinking on some station names.
What do you think of the following alternative names for these stations?
River Valley > Clemenceau? Fort Canning? Tan Tye Place? Mohamed Sultan? Unity Street? Pulo Saigon?
Bencoolen > Prinsep? Waterloo?
Bedok Town Park > Bedok North?
Bedok Reservoir > Reservoir View? Fengshan?
Tampines West > East View?
Tampines East > East Spring? Tampines North Park?
Upper Changi > Somapah? Upper Changi East? Changi South? Changi Business Park?
tampines east can be loyang

River Valley > ITS Centre
Bencoolen > Peony
Sungei Road > Sim Lim
Jalan Besar > Olympic
Kallang Bahru > Kallang Bahru
Mattar > Mattar
Ubi > Broadrick
Kaki Bukit > Bedok North Secondary
Bedok Town Park > Town Park
Bedok Reservoir > Damai Park
Tampines West > Western Heights
Tampines East > Dunman Secondary
Upper Changi > Somapah

River Valley >
Clemenceau = A bit further down from the station
Fort Canning = My choice for the fact is that right above it or maybe 50m from it is Fort Canning Park
Tan Tye Place = Ok, acceptable and better than River Valley but some people may not know where is it. (Alternative choice)
Mohamed Sultan? Unity Street? Pulo Saigon? = For the last 2, I do not know them. I cannot comment. Mohamed Sultan sounded further down from Clemenceau
Bencoolen > Prinsep = Popular alternative choice than Waterloo (In my observation)
Bedok Town Park (BTP) > Bedok North = My choice, actually calling it Damai is not possible on top of the stupid Punggol LRT station (Should have called Edgefield station for that LRT station) is due to BTP is only close to Damai Pri. and real Jalan Damai on Kaki Bukit side. However, Bedok North should be slightly below from it (300m from it?).
Bedok Reservoir > Reservoir View = Which resevoir you are talking about?
Fengshan = Should be more between Bedok and Tanah Merah (And of course North from the EWL), which means somewhere in between Bedok Resevoir and the existing EWL
Tampines West > East View = Nice name, except that nobody knows where is it, hence my vote goes to Temasek (Which can be a bit silly)
Tampines East > East Spring = East View & East Spring considered the previous station above. How about East Point? (Lol, that is a shopping centre in Simei). I mean, such names people can get confused and sounded more like an LRT station name. Tampines East sounds ok, although I like Changkat which is further down by 1km.
Upper Changi >
Somapah = Popular choice as the old road is reopening soon by next year or so
Upper Changi East = Long name. People may not like it
Changi South = Changi South might better off used in Eastern Region Line station
Changi Business Park = Next station after Expo, if there is any extension from DTL (Downtown Line) to connect with Eastern Region Line (Changi Point - Siglap - Marine Parade - Tanjong Rhu - Marina Areas by 2020. It has the least known interchanges, virtually none except one from Marina Areas.)

Sim Lim << Cannot call Sim Lim as it says cannot name after a building
the most difficult stations to name is the station before Expo, the 2 bedok town park/ reservoir and Tampines East.
But luckily i found a solution

Cannot. You cannot view your result. Sorry for that.
Well, after this inital suggestion, there will be a poll, where you are given 4 choices (With the 4th is your own, and 3 suggestions there, most likely 1 of them will be current working name, maybe the Petir MRT station was the exception).
From there, you can roughly tell how much of your suggestion was considered.
Well, I save them in table format of Word document before I send the survey.

Loyang could be a station on the future North Shore Line. Just my guess.

Change to Bedok Reservoir View, or a weird name like Reservoirfront. (Think of Harbourfront and Bayfront).
East View and East Spring is taken from the names of schools there.
Tampines East station is beside Tampines North Park. So, is it North or East?

I think is more on North East. On one of the exit, it is on Tampines St 45, which is Tampines North. On the other hand, some other exits leads to Tampines East. Problem is, Tampines East portion is more than Tampines North portion on that station.
If like that, then the junction on Defu and Hougang Ave 7 might just called "Tampines station" if there is one line go there in future becuase that junction's main road is called Tampines Road.

I agree that the true Loyang is more towards further down from 'Downtown East' in Pasir Ris.

for the first, i think waterfront MRT. but lol then i changed my mind to "Reservoir MRT Station". (as LTA early planned)
