How long does it take for a gal to go steady/accept a guy?

Any comments? Or rather in what ways can a guy do in order to convince the gal that he is SINCERE in her and hope to go one step further...that is to go steady? -

it reali depends.... my gal fran n this guy chatted over the phone for quite a while.... when they 1st mt, they go steady.....
my guy fran oso can mt a gal n go steady with her in short time.....

today i went to XXXX restaurant to 'test' menu, there is a couple throwing a wedding feast, the guy was late 30s with some greyhair liao and the gal was 20 odd, quite pretty....10 yrs gap, the guy looked old but i think he is loaded lah, thats why, other than dat, i can't think of a reason. love ? i think not....

for my case, i very bah to relationship.. so it takes a century before i feel i can accept this guy if there wasnt any "initial crush" unfortunately, those that i have are all either with gfs or have some kind of problems...

She owns a car, I don't but she drive me to work and pick me home everyday. weekends she drive me around anywhere I wanted.
I knew her for 4 days and we go "Steady". Though there are quarrel on and off but relationship still strong.

Don't be harsh, not everybody is lucky to strike the right one for the first time, what I mean is fast doesn't mean you sure get the right one. Take things easy, if she is yours why bother steady or not?
Tips, if the girls know that you wanted her to be your steady she will normally play hard to get cause they know you won't run away, if you can take thing easy infront of her, you chance will be higher.
Doesn't matter how your looks, its how "cool" and how confidence you are,be yourself. Good luck!! -
