want to buy mobile phone with contract or without ?

Buy with contract will be cheaper however it will tie you up with the mobile service operator for 2 yrs. You must pay subscription even you don't need it.
And you know that now you can transfer your phone number to any operators. But if you don't sign up you pay more. So what do you think ?

normally..u buy with contract the phone...$200 cheaper than buying one no contract...
example...with contract a 7250i is 488...no contract is...688 lo..
normally hp works this way..but not to all hp lah of cos

I've come to realise... Unless you're byuing a HP with a good offered contract or something you can be very well be comfortable with... Try not to take advantage of such a deal... Like sh|nY_BoY has suggested... The price difference is usually around $200... If you do a quick calculation for a 2 years contract, you're covering ~ <$10 per month....
So if you review the situation... You'll find that...
1. If you plan requires you to pay on the average > $8-10 of your usual plan, it's probably not worthy a bargain.
2. The chances that a better plan would come up in the near future which would allows you to save more than just this $200 difference...
3. If your subscriber can't provide you with satisfactory service, you can't change your plan within 2 years....
