OK....When 2 ppl are together... i mean officially bf and gf....isit important for them to hold hands in public...to be intimate....etc....or as long as they know they are together can liao....

touch is a powerful sense...
it gives the one who is touched a sensation of being loved... and the one who initiates it a feeling of acceptance....
i would say yes
i can't imagine a couple in love to not hold each others' hands, to touch her cheek, to hold each other
physical intimacies, private and public are very powerful gestures and are important for both parties -

I would counter question 'what is important when a couple is together?'
I would personally say, it's not totally unimportant.
It's an expression which must not be missed in a r/s. However should not be over-emphasied.

as long as you are comfortable in expressing your affection to the other.. generally speaking, it doesn't matter what forms of intimacy u use

just hold hands if the both of you feel like it. u can go beyond that if you are comfortable with that. -

I think it depends on each individual. Some people are comfortable with being more intimate, other aren't.
For me, I'm a very touchy-feely person. I need constant physical contact.. I'm a very affectionate person. Be it my boyfriend or my friends. I could never be with someone who didn't like being intimate.. -

Guys, regardless of how weird you feel when you have to hold your gf's hands for more than five minutes - to a woman's point of view: generally, gestures that show and display your affection, is close-to-essential of 'upkeeping' your relationship.
A definitely 'must-have'
I) Hugs, cuddlings, etc
II) Holding hands, across waist, etc
III) Lots of muackz and kisses on lips, nose, neck, etc.
The power of body language in relationship generally speaks louder than words.
P.S: Your partner is a very special person and in return for being so special in your life - affection is exchanged. Afterall, if your affection is not generous to her/him, then who do you wish to shower your affection to?

I personally believe that when u touch yr loved ones, they will feel the warm u give to them. To me, it is very important that i will hug my gf and kiss her now and then even though it looks stupid to some of u all. But i dun care wat others look upon me as long as my gf apperciate me.
