i'm a cheena guy who cant speak a string of proper english, which i was looked down upon by a few ppl. but i'm proud to look down on chinese who can't speak a string of proper chinese.

If you are "Chinese" (Chinese as in race,not nationality) , you should be able to speak Chinese.
it's that simple.
learning to speak more languages is a good thing, you can go ahead and learn English, French, German, Japanese....
But before you do that, can you speak the language of your own race??
