i guess.. played Fatal Fury.. but didn't like it..
played Art of Fighting, and liked it even less...
but i always gave games a go

hated Tekken, the first one.. but the subsequent ones were something else, Tekken 2 was the game that launched a million playstations

oh, ever since SF alpha 3. the crossovers are messy and pointless... however, SF3 is pretty cool

clean game... as in, not like SF vs Marvel, where the screen's a mess...
currently trying to figure out what the heck is going on in the japanese Soul Calibur 2, quest mode... great touch in the PS2 game is Heihachi Mishima from Tekken

oh, another grouse from the KOFs.. the insanely bad English...
"Beat by 3" huh??

I used to think that way too. Then when I play Kof97, I feel that the game is different in a sense that you can choose up to 3 character and lose only after a defeated trio. Its not as messy as Marvel type game and its not 3D kind - satisfied the way I want it to be.

Anyway, quite a few regular KOF players reads the comic, although I don't really bother. KOF have a long history since Kof 94 or 95 till now.

BTW, if I am not wrong, KOF is the combination of Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury game ages ago - which probably drew both fans since then. For 8-9 years of KOF history (and longer from Art of fighting and Fatal Fury days), I think that's why many continued playing it.
