  i mean i wont mind if this is going to happen or has already happened, from an overall point of view. she is my girlfriend, but that doesnt mean she owes me her life.

  of all girls, why would a guy choose an attached girl to watch movie with her? in return, wouldnt it be weird for the girlfriend to accept such invitation?
  they can be really close friends. and since the guy is so close to her, he should thought of how this will stir up unnecessary misunderstanding. after all, wouldnt it be better for them to watch it in group?

  Maybe your GF obeys you. Till the point that she have to seek your permission to watch a movie.
  My girlfriend is an independant individual, she doesn't need my approval to do things.
