hi all, especially bus(I guess)
recently I encounter a product. it's called the sunless tanning lotion.
initially I thought it's just normal tanning oil and the "sunless" just means that it blocks off the rays completely.
but that's not true. it's actually a lotion where you apply it everyday and you don't have to go into the sun and you'll get tanned. but you'll have to apply finish the whole bottle to get satisfactory effect and it might take about 2 to 3 weeks.
interesting stuff.
anybody heard or tried? -

used to use banana boat but lost it a few weeks ago. didnt buy any of such products since then.

heard before, never used...

nv heard b4.... u mean don have to go into the sun, juz apply n will become tanned ah???
i rather do it the natural way........ it seems too artificial liao -
Sounds like a self tanner. Something like a skin dye. Which brand was that you tried? I've never used tanners before, because my skin tans and retains the colour easily.

tried it once a few years ago when i desperately need a tan but can't afford time.
It works pretty ok except that i can't scrub/exfoliate, otherwise the colour will goes off. -

I haven't try yet. I like to look tanned but I don't want to buy it yet.
ya, the ozone tear already. and the rays are very harmful to our skin. that's why they come out with those box like thing where we lie in it to do the tan. but that one very ex. now that us invent a lotion like this is quite a good idea.
just wonder how will singaporeans react to this product? -
ozone around the equator is unaffected...

I recalled that these products are very popular among the young Japanese girls some years back. Esp those still schooling ones... you know the ones with some wooly socks all the way near their knee caps.

yah, those artificial tan very expensive, but its good cos u dun get tan lines, and u get even tone, but it takes the fun out of tanning lor..
even for these tan in a can thingy, it takes teh fun out of tanning..no doubt i agree that the sun is harmful to our skin..
i haven't try before also, cos dunno how long it'll last, and whether its harmful to our skin as well?? i won't mind giving it a shot just to test water though..think watsons or pharmacy sell them izzit? -
I know a few gals who've used this, on legs especially. No biggie, seems quite safe. As long as you learn to apply it properly, right amount and no streaking. And be careful of your hands, they'll turn orange too.Originally posted by eyelash curler:ya, the product is from the us.

All these products are not practical to use here in hot humid Singapore where you will break into a sweat after walking barely 20 metres.Imagine you apply the lotion on your face then you walk under the sun and sweat...Your face will become a mirror man!!! Believe me,I tried sunless lotions before and my body got so oily(especially after sweating) that I feel very uncomfortable...So now,I go for a natural tan.Originally posted by BÃ¥seline:
