it is very hard to find a gal that will be together with U because of [b]TRUE LOVE as it don't really exist nowadays. Even she is willing to be together with a guy who is doing ad-hoc jobs, her own parents will definitely object to the relationship as the guy doing ad-hoc job basically cannot give the gal any security/happiness!

i dare say 50% of the girls i meet will ask me either i got car to drive as n when i like after knowing them for a while only. and they jolly well noe that i'm still a student.
most of my friends that got gf(be it chio or not) have cars
but part of the main reason y this is so is because with a car, u can bring that special someone to do romantic stuff and develop the so-called chemistry
with bus, taxi, mrt, there is always a limit to what u can do with that special someone
younger girls will not seriously consider cars as an advantage, a bike might be enff but once a girl had experienced guys with cars, be it ex-bf or normal friends, that's it -
if having a car realli makes a guy so much more appealing to gals, den gals mus reali go and do some reflection.

I have a classmate who is going to divorce did ask me "Do I have a Car during one of the wedding dinner" I was shocked and I answer back by saying: " I do not have a car, so no gals fancy me so far" -
You might be have the same fate as those with cars but you for sure wil have a much higher chance than those without cars... The one reason why a ger doesn't why plain janes or babes doesn't be impressed with you owning a car is...... aiya cos' they also havea car liao mah, somemore more nicer than yours loh....

Used to be the days where guys are the head of the house with the rights of speaking as "one house zhi zu"
now, the world has evolute to an extend.
like it or not, they have already become the "neck" of the head....

there are many factors to why this major change take place.
be it tat gals wanna be independant or wat.
The educations is the samiliar with wat guys took....
but guys waste 2 yr plus and so they have a head start.

let me put this into perspective too...
my colleague is married... before he was married, his girl had a car of sorts... she had to service the payments and was her "family car"...
so they got married and the car became theirs.. suddenly, he's helping service the payment...
recently, they got a new car... traded in the old klunker... because she wanted a new car.. suddenly, the money that's being used is not from the common kitty, but from his personal savings...
BTW, he takes the train to work... she drives...

My cousin bought a car 2yrs ago, I told him dun buy but he insisted, now the car not worth v.much money he cannot sell it because if he did will ony sell at loss & still owe the bank 25K so what to do?
Everymonth take out 1.2k just to service the car loan. 1.2K !!!

What trying to say is there's more than one way to impress girls. Having a liability is not one of them. Honestly speaking there are various types of guys
1. Try to get a car to impress gal
2. Can afford a car but live humbly - go for public transport
If a gal insisted her BF to have a car etc, then she is not worth his time as these are materialistic gals, will leave U anytime.
As to who should head a family, well, I still believe the guy should made the FINAL DECISION - don't lost your only pride left in us.
Although I am still single, I will not go all the way for a gal who is impressed with me because of the car that I own and not because of me.
