eh... i agree that for most gers they will chose a guy that have a higher qualification den her. keke... but character, feeling and communication is also important lo... keke....
Well.... if a guy have a lower qualification den the ger but he is willing to work hard etc... and have the learning attitdue like the 7pm show, Ah Cheng. I m sure he stand a chance.

as far as i am concern, tat also has to see wat kinda gal u toking about.
the more value they have in terms of education,beauty, experience, high cut ect.
the price to get them is also more expensive.
it is just like buying things from the shelf. but sometimes if u are lucky, u might be able to get a good one at a low price.

That why some guys really give up on local gals & went Vietnam to look for a wife!
Do U know that the image of lcoal gals is actually not good among us guys? There is a forum which I went to always criticised about local gals. Some compare local gals to china Babes & said that local gals belong to class 3 standard (meaning low standard in terms of looks) of china Babes!
I feel that the causes of all these are
1. Local gals feel that they are "Made in singapore" products so it must be high end product as the country always come 1st in some areas at International level and so become proud and self-centred.
2. Received equal chance of education, as a person studied higher, his/her ambition becomes stronger
3. Financial stable and so becomes less tolerance to the opposite sex and feel there is no need to get married and rather remain singles if he/she cannot meet the right ones.

just like when a male bear wanna mate, he will have to fight to win the other male bear.
noone is perfect and our strength lead to our flaws.
so we have to marlet ourself in our strong points.
ppl are like jigsaw puzzle, not everyone suit anyone.
and it takes two hands to clap.
and lastly sometimes we focus so much in wat we want till we submerge ourself in our imaginative world and forget tat hardly such person exist.
our personal differences and methods of handling situations also has to do with it.
as far as i am concern, nothin is absolute.
we goto have dreams but goto face reality at the rite moment.
esp when gers are young they have their youth and time to slowly choose wat is best for them.

To add on.
People will become choosy as a result.
Those low educated would probably don't mind highly educated ones. But then, there will definitely be unease, conflict and a strange feeling, not to mention talks from other people.
As for those highly educated ones, the same problems arise. And interestingly, education is the cause of it. -

the cert or degree is just another selling point.
The win all is the amount of money one makes. The degree doesn't guarantee that one makes money. -

If my wife were to better off than me in this aspect - It should serve me as a friendly motivation to prove myself and work harder - afterall, there must be improvement and if you are less qualified in your cert - you should work doubly harder than others to prove yourself.
P.S: Guys prefer woman less intelligent than themselves because of the ego problem and the fact that smart ladies are more scheming.
