A guy's qualification is important

I post a question to my colleague once regarding the following scenarios
Guy 1: He can clicked with U, share common interests etc but he is lower in qualification than U (my colleague)
Guy 2: He is much higher qualified than her, do not share many common interests, have differences in thinking, can still click.
Which one to choose? Her answer is Guy 2 because her qualification is HIGHER!!??
Any comments? -
Nowadays, girls look for people who are rich rich rich!
Money is a very factor in Singapore. Especially nowadays, hard to find a job.
The best is to chose guys working for the government. -

This is what I observed so far: If a gal is a Diploma holder, high chance she will go for a guy who is a Degree Holder. The minimum acceptable level is a Diploma holder and nothing lower than that.
Any comments? -
what i think is that it doesn't matters if a guy's qualification is high or low in choosing a bf, even if he's just a O level holder, he can start a businedd by himself and even earns 5 - 10k a mth ..

If I've got higher qualifications, I call the shots. Cos he knows I can leave him anytime and I can survive on my own. But no point also.
No $$ will result in financial difficulties in the family. Once $$ becomes a problem, how much he loves you, you'll still have conflicts. So at the end of the day, money rules.

If a guy is of lower qualification, high chance he will be left on the shelf? Hpow realistic it is our society had became that a person can only love a person if he/she possess something -- How fake is all these so call LOVE as I find that all these are superficial.

1. Single, highly educated gals
2. Single, Lowly educated guys

if a guy no matter hw high e qualification he has but he is lazy to work just like to snake ard do u still 1 2 choose him? -

For marriage,sg gals of coz go for financial security.U tink the gal want to be with u for the rest of ur life is u grad from ITE and earn only 1-1.5k per mth? Now sg so expensive to live in,need $ for this and that,Then next time got kids,need $ for their education,U 2 will struggle to survive man! Unless u do business and make a lot of $,with low edn level,it is impossible to earn a lot of $.
Bottom line:A guy's qualification and concomitantly,his pay check are very important factors that gals consider.

Personally, i feel that the past does not matter as much, if the guy is willing to do something to show the gal tt he is willing to work towards a better future for the both of them, be it further studies, working very hard etc.
A guy's qualifications does not matter as much as his willingness and desire to work towards a better life. -

Sadly, it's a vicious cycle.
Each of his/her own I guess. If you throw these questions to guys, it'll be alot different I guess. If the relationship is based on Superficial means then I'm afraid it's not gonna last very long.
Isn't it beautiful to see couples working hard for each other...be it in work and relationship than everything going with the flow? -

If everyone cannot think and just follow what the other is doing, isn't he/she has already lost himself/herself in the society (Shi Qu Zhi Wo and Bei Jian Zhe Bi Zhi Zhou).
If the gal is choosing the guy based on qualification because
1. she wants a better life
2. she wants to enjoy all the material comfort etc
3. She want to feeling she has "face" in front of her friends/relatives
3. she wants someone to share the burden of the loans
Well, let me tell U the truth: Guys also mind if a gal's income is low (since U gal can do it, how come we guys cannot -- no offend here)
as we guys are the natural breadwinner & U just thinks that the loans that the 2 take up after marriage. Think about it -- U will feel scare.
Like one of my friends had mentioned to me: OK, we guys possess all the conditions that U gals are looking for. Do U gals have the shape/figures ?? Do U have it (no offend here but it serves as a wake up call to those gal who think it is "Li Shuo dan ran"/reasonable that guy should so and so.... I shall tell U straight away U gals must also chip in. Give a thoughts to it.
These are the real reasons why people prefer to remain single nowadays - not by choice but BEING FORCED BY CIRCUMSTANCES. Thanks -

oh man..i hate this.. study study get the cert then got job...so stressful..no cert = no job.. arr...head going burst one day...if u n the her dont match each other.but she just be with u..becos u`re higher qualification..i think she is more after your money....its best to find a true love.. that love each other..qualitfication isnt so important...but hai....guys must really work hard .. headahce sia...

It seems a guy's qualification is an "selling items" among gals
