Reading through the emails in my inbox,this one is particular poignant...
"Well, as for me, sometimes i can be stubborn if i believe in something. But most probably i'm not as an idealist person as you are. For something that is not possible, there will be no point in waiting. Most probably i will juz move on with my life and who knows in future i may get something better in return. In your case, i really appreciate your feelings but it's really no point in waiting coz i don't see any need in that since i'm attached. And for this relationship, all i can say is that it will not be like the last one that will end quickly. This guy really treats me well and loves me alot. I feel the same for him too. So i really don't wanna waste your time in any way.Actually he wasn't that happy when we meet. So in future, i will try not to meet u if i can. Of course we can still keep in contact through email or phone. Juz to let you know how i feel about this whole thing.By the way, i received your card already, thanks... u take care in the mean time."

There is no point in waiting for this gal as she is so strongly attached to the 1st guy as she had already told U. U will not win over her in this situation no matter how hard U try.
Move on with life and there are many more worthy of your time and efforts. Go for someone that valued/appreciate your efforts that were spent in going after her.

Hey,people thanks for the kind words anyway...That email was from 2 years ago...I am happily attached now,looking back,it was my gain!!! I have become a better person after that episode...How would you guys feel if you ever receive such an email from your crush?

Hmm... I'll definitely be heart broken, of course. But, pain won't last that long the way anyone thinks it will. It'll go off in time. So, with this kind of rejections... I'll do my best to move on and deal with my own aches before finding another girl.
I'm glad you've finally gotten over things and have a wonderful outcome afterthat, all the best, for this has just begun. -

Brother, probably it's time that you moved on. Like one said, no pain no gain. At least you conveyed your true feelings to her. I respect your courage. Judging from the email she sent you, she already have a steady partner and she's going on strong. I assumed you let her knew that you were going to wait for her no matter what. It's a misconception. No matter what, how, where, when, which every sincere move you gonna do for her, she will not be touched by your sincerity and integrity. Just by your waiting. Ignorance is a bliss. Dude, I suggest life goes on, take it as an experience, gradually things starts to fall better for you in the near future. Move on.

I sms-ed her twice asking "how are you"?,she didnt bother to reply...best liao,she treats me as a complete non-entity,next time I meet her on the streets,shall I treat her the same way?

if it's just for old times' sake i dun see why u cannot keep it for sentimental reasons. Those were the times when u were young and did some stuff that u wouldn't do again..some ppl chose to retain their old uniforms, photos, etc i find it perfectly find to keep those email...
as a matter of fact, i do keep some momentos of my past like 1 rejection letter, 1 'breakup' gift, and the best of all, correspondence letters between my parents when THEY were still single..i guess u can call me a timekeeper on that..
