just need some feedbacks... i used to be a photographer
but mainly i'm a designer, running my own company. i still like photography but then its more of a hobby thingy. in my current job i need camera (which i no longer own anymore coz not much time, yet am dying to own one) for taking products shot etc.
so i was thinking of purchasing a set of camera + lightings... then i got this thought, why not spare 1 room of mine out and set it up as a photo studio to take coverlooks for teenagers. (currently my house has 1 room set up as home office, SOHO).
just wondering such a home set up, will teenagers be willing to pay for photoshoot? most will think its some kind of scam or porno or some bad stuffs right? what if its cheap? will you as a consumer try it out?
In Hong Kong, there is such an industry. Professional freelance photographers who are employed to take photo series for their female clients.
You might wanna search on the web to see how they introduce their business on the web.

If you setup a home studio - think you have very limit budget for background stuff by the time you get camera & Lightings.
For doing of this type - you need a good PC to do touch up too.
Outside in shopping malls - there are those that give a full package - makeup, photo, touchup and instant printing ..., which i do not think you can give the full packages.
Also for strangers - there is serious concern of safety esp you operate from home !!!
It would be good to go with friends, just in case its really a scam.
yah! that's a good idea! like for secondary school/jc kids who are in their final year in school, they can go to your place to take photos and all. serves as good memories! (: but have to be affordable. what rates are you looking at?
