Girls...Would u accept a fake diamond engagement ring?

  A colleague of mine just got engaged and she confided to me that its a fake diamond. They are a young couple so I guess he doesnt have the money to get her a ring she dreamt of. It seems a little tacky to me, but sweet at the same time. What do you think?

  i'd prefer no engagement ring or something inexpensive. i think there are better things to spend money on. and unless you're planning to pawn it later it doesnt matter how much it's worth.
