Is it better to live in singapore or in a european/american country?

I went to Europe before and seriously, as beautiful the countries are...i cannot see myself residing there. Maybe I would consider relocation and work there. But to call it my permanent home, i dun think so.

Well, I live in the Netherlands and i was thinking of moving to singapore or maybe indonesia. Cause imo it totally sucks here. So im gathering info.

The people here dont live happily together, people are very greedy and think that they are better then others, wich causes alot of squarles, if you say hello to someone on the streets then 8 out of 10 times they look at you like if your a retard for saying hi to them, or they say "what do you want" with a angry tone.Originally posted by nympho:What sucks? I live in Canada and I love my home. I grew up here.
I would definately vacate in Singapore, one day. -
Each of which got their pros and cons if u would want to compare, there would be a 1001 of them.
But for me majority of locals are pretty self-scented. Maybe they only spare thought for themselves more then it is for others. I think we can see it all
around us.
Living Is the west would be a better option for me.

this reminds me of a short 10 sec encounter with a caucasian girl (poland) on the streets the other time......i said to her....do you like singapore....and she told me.....yeah....there are jobs here........seriously so many people want to shift their butts out of here and so many people come squeezing in here.....hmmmm......
but i think i rather stay put in my own place....at least i know the way things go about.......going to another country to start another new life is extremely difficult.......depends on many many factors .........
most of the caucasians that i met like the other time in marina.........a brit girl working as a waitress......well....at least to say.....she has some relatives in singapore.......
its best not to come alone ......least you get too bashed up emotionally and then become very wretched.........
i have seen a caucasian guy the other time passing by my place.....and his face was full of rage.....like as though someone trampled upon him.......whooaaa.......best to stay clear of such people.......people who have a burning rage in them........ -

Typhoon, flood watch, earthquake, hurricane, hails..etc will come to visit U now and then...
Bus , TAXI and "Train"( MRT)
is so so so uncommon over there..
everyday want go out anyway must drive car.
Car is a necessity there....
sometime i want take a break from driving also cannot.
NightLIfe... well... not all Disco open til 6am or 24 hours..
BabyDolls open til 2 am only..
sian..
and after go chiong.. want go makan..
the 24 hours food store...
can shake head..
only left with choices like macdonald. IHOP... etc..
all very sian one..
and so god damn far away..
not like singapore..

Singapore my profession too many controls and restrictions, result low pay, poor quality of life. Cannot do the things I want to do easily. No support, then appoint FTs to oversee us?!?!?! Sg Gov underspend on me for years for training so now cannot compete with FTs.
USA gave me all the opportunities, training. No real difference with anyone else in USA. United Nations where I work.
Life is good, I want to live forever. WORKING TOWARDS IMMORTALITY. THAT'S WHY AMERICANS SPEND SO MUCH ON HEALTHCARE - LIFE IS GOOD - THEY WANT TO LIVE FOREVER. -
