  hmm Gershwin... i just went to listen to Rhapsody in Blue last week.

  The piano only version is wonderful too I forgot where I downloaded the MP3 for that from, but it's huge coz it is almost 13 minutes long...
  
  Did you watch Fantasia 2000?
  
  2 bits in there made it a wonderful thing to watch.. their rendition of Rhapsody in Blue and Donald's "Noah's Ark" set to Pomp and Circumstance is something to behold

  Gershwin to jazzy la..
  Persis is still the best..
  i have Canon in D in many variations.. haha funny they sound very beautiful yet the same..
  anyway, flight of the bumblebee also nice but damn hard

  Not classical but have you ever heard of (ahem!) the Flight of the Rumble Ree by Anthrax? (yup, that thrash metal band)
