that is usually the case with big developers where they are very meticulous in appointing their own to manage newly developed properties...another good example is Keppel Land...of course they have very good reasons for this

Clementi Mall is uncomparable to Nex Serangoon.
Clementi Mall is small but it have Fairprice Finest in it.
Nex is still MUCH bigger than Clementi Mall. -

The previous popular at Level 3 JP1 was good. Now is that it moved to JP1 B1, and somemore the popular is sandwiched between JP1 & JP2 right at the corner.

Yes, NEX got the thumbs down in everything, carpark, crowds, layout, it just sucks, they even have F&B outlets operating with licence.
So for goodness sake all you good please stop patronising that sucky place called NEX and singing praises for it, so people like me can enjoy going there and not deal with the crowds.

Thumbs up for the words! Just went JPSC yesterday... crowded as per normal. but still able to walk.
BTW, Jurong Point special feature is that it allows natural lighting in hence they don't need on too much lights. Hence that is why in the past Mediacorp always air dramas in there. There's even a Variety show called (Journey to the West) to jurong point, mark lee.. henry thia all wear costumes of Zhu Ba Jie and Tang Shang Zhang inside JP. -

What's the point of natural lighting when most of the time, I only go such malls at night?
A bus interchange and an MRT station doesn't change the fact that Jurong Point lies in the western outpost of Singapore. I might only go there when I go for reservist at Pasir Laba camp.
Btw, both JP2 and Nex are built by Guthrie Engineering.

Clementi Mall is going to have the typical shops in the malls eg old Chang Kee, Best Denkis, Challenger, NTUC Fairprice Finest, foodcourt, Clementi Library, Mindstretcher enrichment/tuition centre.
Clementi Mall is likely to be a a neighbourhood shopping mall except with heavy human traffic due to the location with MRT and bus interchange.

Clementi mall will be a small mall. But traffic is high, but who knows maybe if it opens in a few weeks time crowds will move from NEX to Clementi...
