What about the one on Thompson Road near Lake View Estate? What about the one in AMK central?
Do they at least sell the root beer? I loved how they used to serve it in the restaurant in chilled mugs. Then ppl would try to steal the mugs home.
also remember the first few liquid paper.
like one small bottle, with a cap and brush. Then slowly paint the words away.
and it stinks badly too.
You still can get that now. Back then if you have the "shaker" pencil, you part of the cool crowd.
I rmb back in pri sch days which was long long time ago... ppl bring gameboy (1990s' psp) to sch and show off...

Closed down ages ago. I think the last A&W outlet to go was the AMK one. You can still buy A&W root beer in canned or bottled form from supermarts but without the chilled mugs served at the restuarant,
Damn, that's sad. I remember they were the first to offer culry fries back in the day.
Here in the US, A&W is mostly found in the more ulu towns...pretty weird.

everyday ppl buy 1 big bag and go gamble with them.
flip flip flip and vs each other, and must climb over the other eraser to win.
and loser forfeits his eraser.

Must have had a lot of fights in your school...no not joking because of the name but if I could still recall these were some of the schools which had gang related problems.

You can probably hand them down to your kids, grandkids and great grandkids. It has lots of historical value in them, provided the rubber don't disintegrate.
As for N3RD, I don't think his future generations need buy any more erasers.

when it was introduced, the Walkman was known as the Soundabout...
the thing had everything you wanted in a little stereo, recording, condenser mic, mic jack, 2 stereo headphone jacks, compact speakers, AM/FM radio.. but it was pretty big but still smaller than anything else..
i lusted after one but only managed to save enough to buy dunno how many generations later one..
I remember those high-end pencil cases with all sorts of buttons with all sorts of functions.
You press one button, the pencil sharpener pops up. You press another button, a little drawer for more pencils pops out. And so on.
Those kids with these pencil cases were the big shots in class.
