Smart Retards of the First World.
1. Demand good service, but are unable to provide any.
2. Shrewd when being kiasu, but clueless when time to be considerate. (think bus/MRT)
3. Sound brave and bold when complaining, but are meek and inadequate when proactive action needs to be taken. (think Speakers Corner)
4. Complain intellectually about everything, but are hapless solving any real issues.
5. Think they look cool, but in fact epitomize nerds. (the opticians are laughing all the way to the bank)
6. Quick at finding fault in others, but never seem to be aware of their own. (think Stomp)
7. Intelligent academically, but not streetsmart. (just put him side by side with an angmoh, or almost anyone from another 1st world nation, in a social situation. There, you got it.)
8. Have an uncultured mentality of expecting the maximum while giving the minimum, rarely empathizing with the other party. (there's a reason for they saying: what goes around, comes around)
9. Think they are a first-world people with many 'achievements' for a small nation, when in fact are tactless, uncivil, and lack etiquette.
10. Are quick to take advantage of situations and people, but seem handicapped in showing appreciation with sincerity and spontaneity.
Have a good day.

Its just so cool of you to make this observation..Thus you are one of us :)
11. Enjoy bashing those of their own kind, as if it will make themselves seem any better.
I agree, but I believe all of us here at least fall into one of the points listed.
Nice nick :D
where is mr ban button
...and as usual typically smart sinkaporean who r quick to point out the flaws of others but themselves...nw i truly believe the world is round
to each his own..somehow.
You want to cum into the condom or you prefer removing it?
i truely agree with number 6
Very true!
I think we are 2nd world people, not first. Its our asian culture to always think of ourselves. This must change! Asians will never become first world people living in an asian environment. Unless you live overseas for a very long time.
First world is only in economic terms. Sports, culture and education all cannot make it.

If you didn't contribute anything to the sports arena, the cultural area and education, please do not comment.
Added: TS's topic is so wrong. Because people who came to reply just showed everyone else they belong to point 6.

hmm..sports arena was mainly contributed by chinese ping pongers, badminton players..soccer players was imported from elsewhere too...dont recall actual medalists as people bred in sg..
cultural area...wat culture sg has??sg is but a place filled with immigrants with their own culture and differences..
education??educated beasts are what i see..spawns sueing parents for property n money...n in terms of education..sg is pretty bad at it too..exams machines are what sg education systems had produced..
n TS is pretty right..to the T in fact.

Cultural arena: I think you didnt get what i mean. We are all influenced by sg society's culture. A culture created by PAP. Eugenics and stuffs. We are taught to be selfish.
Education: Ask the garmen to change. Garmen wants us to be more creative, but if the same education system is still in place for 50yrs. You dont expect our citizens to become creative out of nowhere. Just like the US policies, they will continue to have deficits if they keep spending more than what they earn. Nothing is gonna change.
Sports: Need to be cultivated from young. Like our sports school, how do you expect our young athletes to do well in studies and excell in sports at the same time? Jack of all trades but master of none. Heard of this phrase?
Agree with all points except point 7. Some angmohs are really screwed up man. Much worse than us.
Very... interesting.

Thanks, but I'm not 'one of you'.
I have the (dis)pleasure of spending 3 months in your godforsaken island every year due to my line of work. 3 months that I don't look forward to, compared to the other destinations. Don't get me wrong, I like the place. But the people... leave much to be desired.

I agree wholeheartedly with your points on educated beasts and exam machines.
