This is really a good example of someone that don't really know MLM.
anyhow, it would be useful if you can provide me the name of the factory that produce heating elements for HP printers, I am totally upset with HP, especially have to leave the printer there for 1 month then still have to pay for sky price.
You're correct when you say that not everyone uses toothpaste. But take a look at the size of the market of razor blade users. Guys use them from age 20 onwards.Originally posted by jedi:Not everyone in this world change blades very often, and also NOT everyone use razor blade!
..........
You start brushing your teeth from yr 1 to the day you die, but if you are a guy, you start to use razor blade when you are 20.
Can you see the difference between razor blade & consumable item?
If you wanna compare with computer parts, can!! let's talk about HP printer.
in a HP LaserJet printer, there will be many parts such as heating elements and etc. Although HP printer is very famous in the world, but HP is the only company on Earth that produce heating elements for HP printers.
But let's look at toner & cartridge, a lot of remanufacturer toner and refill cartridge running in the market.
Why these competitors do NOT want to produce heating elements and they start to bang the toner market?!
This is because to a printer, toner is a consumable item and heating elements is just a spare parts. Consumable item will never ever be saturated BUT if they start to produce heating elements, they will be in deep shit.
cheers!
I know HP must have done their 3Ps very well, to have you pay high prices for its printers.Originally posted by jedi:

Please refer to a book called "Prosumer Power" before you start comment on anything.Originally posted by Parka:Relating MLM to all this the-consumable-market is not saturated thing......
MLMs are also competing with non-MLM companies for the market.
So it makes not difference if you're in a MLM or not.
BUT if you are just a consumer, you will never ever have a chance to occupy any portion of the market pie!Originally posted by stormax:MLM or Non-MLM industry, the important thing is still uniqueness and competitive. How can you occupy a big portion of the market pie.
Actually there's nothing wrong with selling things to friends? So why do people have this impression or perception that it's not morally right?Originally posted by au_revoir:hmmmm juz my 2 cents
nothing against MLM
but then i heard of ppl's comments that it seems morally not right to be earning money of those related to u or friends....
it could be the perception of MLM in singapore
Originally posted by Parka:yup i agree on what you said.... the moral part i was talking abt is selling ur item... if the item is genuninely good and beneficial, then of coz both parties will benefit.... but some sell for the sake of selling.... they are the black sheeps....
[When you're selling stuff to your friends, esp good friends, make sure that it's good quality stuff that's going to provide value. They are your friends, they can find you easily.
So if the product is bad, they will always come back to complain. Friendship sours, when it comes to money. Which is why some people say do business cannot do with friends. But nothing is morally wrong.
This issue actually leads to the primary problem that MLMs have been trying very hard to shake off.
Bad image and reputation.
That comes from the close association from pyramid selling. And image is very hard to create. It takes many years to create an image or brand, it takes many years to erase a bad image too.
Other things also contributed to its reputation. For an industry to have such a reputation, you can't say that it's built overnight.
i'm dont think i have the chance to wait for you to become crown ass...it would take hundreds of years to reach that. one phrase, wait long long!Originally posted by jedi:you are rite! it's the mindset!
that's why if you set your mind to make it success in MLM, you can do it!
If you set it as Crown Ambassador, you will be Crown Ambassador one day!!
but many people think that, "let me see if sure can success then only I start"
I can say, when I start in Amway, most of my friend say this to me, they say "wait till you make it to Diamond, then you come to sponsor me"
but now, I made what I want, they ask me sponsor them and teach them how to do it, I also lazy already.
Now, it's not I beg who to do this business, it's now who I want to help, I can be very selective, because I know the way to success.
frankly speaking, I admit I am too stupid to talk to you.Originally posted by Alex Wong:so please do what you mean. prove us that you can reach in 5 years. hmm...maybe impossible for you? how about we let you take 10 years??
or too impossible for you too? hmm... 20 years?? should be ok with you or you still need your next generation to take over?
