Well,
How many a times we are forced to make a decision because of family/peers?
Have to eat our words as we don't wanna hurt somebody by telling the truth?
Sacrifice yourself for another?
Feel bonded by the ways of the world?
Is there really no freedom in the world?

Well....I had been asked by my parents to break up wif my ex....and I had chosen to go against them.....
REASONS:
(1) They had not given me good enuff reasons for that.
(2) I had taken great efforts in liking the gal.....not to say going after her.
(3) I doesn't want to live regretting not trying hard enuff to get my parents to like her.
(4) I dun wanna be my parents puppet!
(5) If I give in this time.....I will not be able to hold my head up in the future....coz I can't fight for my own future.
Well...so much so...eventually I still broke up with her...but it is certainly not becoz of my parents....however, it did have a very negative effects on the relationship.
