chinese language display in IE6

seem to be having problems with IE6, winXP, chinese pages show up with wierd scripts, and auto select fucntion keeps screwing up the pages though it selects the correct script. pls help.

check by selecting the chinese character type to c if it works or not...
mi encountered tis problem too...
it stems from the chinese sites tat did not initialise (to tell the IE explorer) to change to the correct Chinese text type...
