Muji opens its first SG cafe in Sep at the Paragon

  Muji Singapore will open its first Cafe&Meal Muji in Singapore on Sept 5 at the Paragon, an upmarket shopping mall along Orchard Road.

  The 122 sq m premises will be adjacent to its current Muji outlet in the shopping mall, and the store will undergo a revamp in line with the cafe's opening.

  There are 23 Cafe&Meal outlets in Japan, and four outlets overseas - with two in Hong Kong, and one each in Chengdu and Taiwan.

   

  The design of the cafes is synonymous with the Japanese lifestyle brand of minimalist chic, with simple wood furnishing.

  Menu items served here will be based on the deli offerings and recipes from Japan, but using ingredients from Singapore or Malaysia. There will also be an emphasis on desserts, such as baked pudding, a popular item in Japan.

  Muji - founded in 1980 in Japan - is popular for its wide range of household items, stationery and snacks.

  Other Muji stores in Singapore include locations at Ion Orchard, VivoCity, and Bugis Junction.

  The much anticipated Cafe&Meal MUJI will be opening soon in Paragon shopping mall, in fact as soon as next Saturday, 9 September 2015. Announced just a few hours ago on MUJI Singapore’s Facebook page, it will be the first F&B outlet the popular Japanese lifestyle company to open here locally.

  “Singapore First Cafe&Meal MUJI will be open at Paragon Outlet on 5th September. Based on the concept to pursue “natural flavour of food”, Café&Meal MUJI uses seasonal ingredients with simple cooking to bring forward a delicious and healthy arrays of delis selection, with desserts and drinks! Do check back often as we introduce more information on Cafe&Meal MUJI.”

  MUJI are not known to be cheap.

  That said, I do like some of their item simply becoz it's simple and has quality...

   

  But hor, the cafe, who's the cooks?

  i would say muji stuff quite affordable

  since i can afford them

  usually i buy the skincare and makeup

  not as cheap as drugstore brands but not as asspensive as counter brands

   

   

  not tt keen abt the cafe though

  Well, I hoot the foodstuff most of the them, but they usually cant keep for long de...

   

  Cafe can go try la. At least once for the novelty, and probably not going back if they sell me asspensive over priced cafe food with no quality.

  Of coz I dun expect resturant standard for the amount of money I'm paying, but with the amount I'm looking at, I am expecting better quality than fast food...

  Oops  ....  but i don' t like butter chicken, butter curry, and caramel.  Can't eat spinach.

  So disappointing !    May be I will try Earl Grey Chiffon cake,  i love earl grey.
