Mcdonalds giving option to donate happy meals

  "Hi everyone, thank you for supporting the Happy Meal Despicable Me 2 promotion! We know many of you have been requesting the option of donating your Happy Meal(s) to a good cause and we’ve been working on ways to make that happen. From tomorrow 11am till 31 July, we’re pleased to offer you the option of donating your Happy Meal(s) to a charitable partner, the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS).
  
  Please let our friendly counter staff know you’d like to donate one or more of your Happy Meals when you place your order. The meals will be delivered to MINDS after the promotion is over and McDonald’s will guarantee that they receive a minimum of 1,000 Happy Meals, even if fewer meals are donated."

  hehe...as long as kids are happy they don't bother much? It's happy meal so they don't really care haha

  that is definitely a good way for Mac to boost their sales.     wonder why don't they donate directly rather than getting customers to do it.

  I prefer giving donation directly to them rather than buying them Mac meal

  bcos ppl may just buy for the DM2 toys and not eat the happy meals at all

  (same happened to HK.......)

  so might as well dun waste the food
