Some foods you eat to stay alive, others you eat because not to would be a crime. And then there are those foods worth traveling the world over to gorge on.
At Majestic Restaurant, every mouthful makes you wonder why you eat anything else, it's preparation is so theatrical you'll feel like dancing a jig while you're eating it. The cuisine at Majestic Restaurant was such an abundance of tasty eats that I was rejoicing throughout every moment of my meal.
The six course set dinner menu priced at S$128 per person with a minimum of two person didn't just match up to it's outrageously expensive price tag, but exceeded all expectations.
The combination of sliced peking duck with passion fruit salad and pan seared scallop with sauteed egg white was a work of beauty, both in presentation and in taste.
The pan seared scallop was sweet and soft, and almost melt in my mouth with every little bite I took. Paired with the sauteed egg white, the taste was simply delightful, and so mouth watering that I was yearning for more after I finished it all.
The sliced peking duck was perfectly crispy and most delicious. Almost immediately after I have placed it onto the tip of my tongue and lightly munched on it, it evaporated into my taste buds.

The poached grouper fillet in chicken and yunnan ham consumme, conpoy and shitake mushroom was fresh and melt in the mouth tender for it's grouper fillet, juicy and lightly crunchy for it's shitake mushroom, and abundantly tasty for it's chicken and yunnan ham consumme soup base.
