I am eating alot of beancurd recently and which do you guys think its better Lao Ban or QQ soya? Or is there any better or healtheir ones ? I honesly prefer the QQ type.

I agree with Rednano...
beancurd texture arent meant to be so "geletin" like... Sure it's not so firm like jelly but it stills feels like a pudding than a beancurd...

.....I've eaten lao ban, amasoy and sweetheart, nothing fantastic really. After a few spoonful, the flavour fade away. Still prefer the Taiwanese version called "Beans Talk"

actually the new pudding type is healthier..as u c the difference lies in the congealing agent, the traditional type uses the 石�粉 which has a very cooling ppty n not suitable for ppl with 寒 type of body, if take in too much can cause kidney stone.

You won't get kidney stones unless you eat a something like a kilo every day without stopping, and not all stalls use gypsum.

that's mostly coffeemate or non-dairy creamer you're eating.. go look at the back of the shops which sell this pudding crap, you'll see packs and packs of the stuff....
and read what the stuff is made of.. and you'll never eat that stuff or use the non-dairy creamer ever again

just increased from 40cents a bowl to 50cents recently.
