Tim Ho Wan Singapore’s first charity event:
• To be held on 28 April 2013, in conjunction with the official opening of the restaurant
• 100% of proceeds will go to The Straits Times School Pocket Fund
This one-day donation drive will begin at 10am and last till 10pm. And as a form of thank you for their donations, Tim Ho Wan will treat all Samaritans to its award-winning BBQ pork buns.
For a $2 donation, the donator will receive one bun.

$5 - 2 Bao(s)
$10 - 3 Bao(s)
$20 - 4 Bao(s)
$30 - 5 Bao(s)
$40 - 6 Bao(s)
$50 - 7 Bao(s)
$60 - 8 Bao(s)
$80 - 9 Bao(s)
$100 - 10 Bao(s)
100% of the proceeds will go to The Straits Times School Pocket Fund and aid underprivileged kids in Singapore. So come on down and join us for a good cause!
On top of all the proceeds donated by the public, for every $1 donation, Tim Ho Wan will also 'add' (æ·») $1 (on a 1:1 ratio) to the proceeds, capped at $8,888.
The Chairman of Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, Mr. Han Fook Kwang, will also be officiating the event, together with chef Mak and the other shareholders of Tim Ho Wan.
The public is advised to take note that on 28 April 2013, due to the charity event, the dine-in area will only be open for business from 1.00pm onwards.

The queue there this monday morning before 11am was already so ridiculous. And I thought the queue at Jamie's Italian at Perth was bad. The one at tim ho wan takes it to a whole new level of duh.

Noo...the queue is still equally long during break hours and week ends. So unless you are on off day or going at some weird timing in the afternoon then still get ready to queue. BUT verdict is that the HK one is far better than this local one..
Luckily victor never get any michellin star for his dim sum.
