mostly around Boat Quay area in the old days. They are well known for their seafaring and boats. Almost forget biggest group will be at Beach Road/ Jalan Sultan.

I heard that before.
My Quemoy leluhur were from the ( Phoo_ Kha-- Lau/ ) along the Old Geylang before it got burnt down.

From my mum and my own observation dif type of hokkien generally but not all somehow tell their general personality.

ok, I know there were many fires back in the 70s burning down lots of those who refused to relocate to HDB usually burning down at night.
