Good morning everyone! I need some help for this coming chinese new year so that I can converse a little with my grandmother. I need some help to correct my translation, I can roughly understand the language when they talk, but I can hardly converse well.
From English to Hokkien:
There was a call from China for you. It was from them (your brother). They wish you Happy Chinese New Year, gong xi fai cai and shen ti jian kang. They asked about your health . They said everything is good over here (in China) and I told them that you are in healthy and happy.
My weak attempt translation:
Wu li eh tian wei, si thiong kok ka lai eh. Si li eh xio di. Yi ka li kong sin ni koi lok, keong hee huat chai, xin tei kian kong. yi woon li ho bo. thiong kok hee bin ho ar. wa ka yi nang kong li ma si jin ho, tak li jin hua hee
Every year CNY, there will be a call from my relative living in China. It's my grandmother's brother calling Singapore to wish her. I hope someone can help me translate into hokkien so that I can pass the message to my grandmother easier. Please correct me if there's any mistake or can make the greeting even better.
Really appreciated!
From English to Malay:
Thank you for taking good care of my grandmother. You did a great job. I know it's tough and really appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. If there's anything that you need help, you can call me. I will come and see you again in a few weeks time.
This one I really have problem translating. I can understand some malay, but I cannot converse in malay.
As for the Canto part, I already found out the translation already
