Election is over. Next election is five year later.
Instead of being not happy, sad, etcetera. , we should look forward.
The economy is already showing signs of not doing well.
Otherwise, why do you think election is this year, not 2016?
It's time to start to prepare, if you have not started.
Look forward.
Save money.
Crap
Singaporeans are too short sighted to see the future . short term gains and long term failures.
"every man has a price" oh dear , we are cheap . Some soothing words and a packet of chiken rice?
Why do we need 89 seats for a small red dot , I cannot deny we do have some talented members in the parliament. They should be put to good use as some department heads to improve productitivty or planning , instead of taken directorship in some 10+ companies and at the same time drawing a minstry salary. Its such a waste of talents for not focusing solely on the future of singpore but paid to. Perhaps integrity and dignity are the loose-change of prosperity.
I hope the incumbents will inject some humanity elements into their civil servants instead of showing-off their power , insitgating fear into the people . a very good example was the " Optimus Prime" incident. - "Power corrupts , absolute power corrupts absolutley . Almost all great men are bad men"

They are selfish and hypocritical like the pappies.
WP may go into Tampines and Marine Parade GRCs while SDP may go into Sembawang GRC.
89 seats so as to deter opposition from ever taking over government.
Win all they want. Just don't know how long can their leeder be around to continue as pit M.

Straits Times reporter mock WP supporters: People who want change are self-serving
Senior correspondent with The Straits Times, John Lui, mocked Workers’ Party (WP) supporters in his scathing article covering the aftermath of the election where the WP lost substantial votes. Right on his first statement, John Lui complained that people who want to change the government are usually self-serving people.
John Lui quoted an interview with a retiree who said his children cannot stand living in Singapore, and John Lui wrote:
He then interviewed another WP supporter, and laughed saying:
John Lui continued to mock the Opposition supporters’ losses saying:
You may read John Lui’s original article here.
This guy is just a typical lackey of the PAP regime lah. His wages are paid by the state controlled media. Just let him be lah. What do you expect from him? He has to suck PAP cock to survive. Support WP? His career will end immediately and he will be jobless. Old already how to find job? Only way is to suck up to PAP and scold WP. Typical mediocre PAP stooge.
Our state controlled media is ranked 154 for press freedom. What can we expect?
Why you read this type of stooge writer from 154 ranked media? I see also don't want to see, this type of garbage PAP stooge.
154 media still want to act big. Fuck off lah. See his fuck face also sian. Pui!

But why should anyone care about SDA? They only got 27%. Pasir Ris people already rejected them, it's time to move on. Cannot keep on doing same thing over and over and expect different result.

I think that was WP strategy, they don't want to hold two rallies on single day. They want to concentrate all the attention on a single rally per day.
If there were more days in election campaign, WP would have staged rallies at those two places.

That i know.
Reading and watching state controlled media stuff is the favourite past-time of daft sinkies. They believe in everything in it, amazingly daft. This makes it easy as abc to let pappies control and brainwash them.
Hopefully, WP will not be wiped out next election. Political scene here is becoming more and more scary with endorsement from daft sinkies.

Suck cock, anybody also can suck, no special skill, real investigative journalism requires talent, not everyone can do it.
Ridiculous to go and bother with a PAP cocksucker of 154 ranked media.
See also want to sleep.

More people are waking up, it's just that things have not translated to votes. Opposition must try harder. PAP also scared, otherwise why call snap elections and give money?
Look at Chee Soon Juan, people are lining up to buy his books, this was unthinkable just a few years ago.

That's true especially about Dr Chee. I have respect for his determination.

SDA performed better than NSP, RP, PPP, SPP and SingFirst this election. Getting less than WP's average of 39.75% does not mean must give way to WP otherwise all 7 other opposition parties not including those that did not participate in 2015 election would be gone.
WP overloaded already and could not handle despite focusing on 28 seats.
SDA has potential of housing different political parties under without forcing the party members to give up their parties. In 2001 and 2006 election, NSP and SPP went under them but detached themselves from them after that.
It is also about opposition unity for a real long-term short at First World Parliament.
WP also persisted in contesting in Nee Soon and Jalan Besar despite being rejected there with less than 40% of votes. Voters see such persistence as seriously interested in contesting there if they continue to be active there.
However, if WP could win more than half of the seats it contested in, then it is a different story.

Yes....it also means WP already cannot handle it as they know they could not win if they split their team into two teams unlike PAP which could handle with up to 6 teams per night.
Imagine a WP rally at half strength with LTK, CSM and Pittam Singh at one rally and another with Slivia, Png Eng Huat and Mohd Faisal at another rally instead of full force. Do you think they could win there? They tried full-force at Marine Parade, East Coast, Nee Soon, Jalan Besar and Punggol East but failed and almost failed at Aljunied. So staying focused is more important than expansion if you are already stretched to your limits. NSP made that mistake in 2011 election contesting in 24 seats instead of assembling an A-team to attack Tampines which was then led by most unpopular Minister Mah Bow Tan. They ended up with nothing when they could have had at least an NCMP.

I think that is moot point already. PAP will get rid of Punggol East smc next elections and absorb it into Pasir Ris GRC, so WP will contest in Pasir Ris GRC.
My idea is for WP to take east side to thwart PAP gerrymandering.

SDP did not wish to contest in Sembawang in 2015.
Tampines is NSP's area. They did OK there with 28% votes (and close to 43% in 2011) considering the fact of Sebastian's scandal and the recent departure of good candidates like Steve Chia, Tony Tan, Hazel Poa, Nicole Seah, Tan Lam Siong, Goh Meng Seng and Jeneatte.

28% is good?

Then let the parties negiotiate themselves when the new map comes out.
Let us see whether PM would keep his promise of "clean politics" next election ( see http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/if-you-believe-in-me/2111534.html ) and not redraw the boundaries again to cause parties to clash with each others to reap the benefits.

Till now , you still expect him to keep his promise. If it keeps its promise , snowing in sg.

28% after losses of 7 good candidates is not bad result but very far away from the average of 39% (or 43% in Tampines) they received in 2011 election.

Then spread the news it is not "clean politics" by highlighting the redrawing of boundaries.
I feel that PAP would increase GST in the next few years because it did not promise not to increase GST but unfortunately, no non-ruling parties highlighted this point during the final political broadcasts.
