  Can''t wait to see tin pei ling kick out.    She will still go ahead with election campaign during her confinement. Poor baby will miss mummy not around to take care of him.

  Even if PAPigs win big there is no guarantee that they can hold on to Tanjong Pagar. Some of the flats in the area are in bad nick.

  SingFirst leaves Ang Mo Kio GRC to Reform Party and PAP

  The SIngaporeans First Party (SingFirst) has confirmed that it will not be contesting the Ang Mo Kio GRC in the upcoming elections.

  In a statement on Monday, the party said, “To avoid a 3-corner fight, SingFirst will hereby withdraw its interest to contest AMK GRC and focus its resources on Tanjong Pagar and Jurong GRCs.”

  

  The statement was signed by its secretary general, Tan Jee Say.

  The Reform Party (RP), which had contested the Ang Mo Kio GRC in the last elections, were visibly upset when SingFirst expressed interests in the constituency at the all-party meeting of opposition parties last week.

  Also on Monday, the National Solidarity Party (NSP) announced that it is pulling out of the contests in Macpherson SMC and Marine Parade GRC, leaving the two constituencies to the Workers’ Party to have a straight fight with the People’s Action Party (PAP).

  The WP chairman, Sylvia Lim, thanked the NSP for its withdrawal and said that the WP will now focus on the 10 constituencies it will be contesting in the elections.

  The only potential three-cornered remains in Potong Pasir SMC, where lawyer Tan Lam Siong has said he will be contesting as an independent candidate against the Singapore People’s Party’s Lina Chiam and the incumbent PAP MP, Sitoh Yihpin.

  Everywhere else will be straight fight between the opposition and the ruling party.

  Very good, very excellent,  super happy, NO MORE MOULMEIN KALLANG GRC.   lalalalala  congratulation and celebration.

  Moulmein kallang grc deserves to be dissolved.  T C aware of cleaners not sweeping refuse to step in to solve this problem.   Town council TANG the officer has no interest and responsibility to serve residents.  Residents called him, he forever not in.  Never return call to residents needing help.  Even manage to talk to him , he ignored the request of resident complaining about water leaking.  Resident had to threaten him with going to lee hsien loong for help then he changed he helped.    

  Book keng resident complained nobody swept corridor for months

  ...

  The estate manager Cheah is aware of these problems , do nothing to improve.

  I am not happy; I am angry!

  Why they approve the new opposition party to use the name "People's Power Party"(PPP)?

  It is too identical to the name "People's Action Party"(PAP)

  I am angry because that new opposition party may be contesting in my GRC.

  I feel that they are riding on the name "PAP"

  As in, what if one voter wants to vote for PAP, but accidentally tick next to PPP?

  Likewise, what if one voter wants to vote for PPP, but accidentally tick next to PAP?
