if like this i'm not called a singaporean oredi
Been waiting damn long already. Wonder if the 3 month mark will pass and still no by-election.
I think will be held on saturday, so no PH.
If incumbent party wins back Hougang, does it mean they will continue to keep increasing GST and all sorts of taxes to help the poor like us?
if PM cannot make a swift decision for 1 constituency
wonder how did he managed to decide for the country?

opposition must stay ...
Talking about showmanship, BYK of Tampines is full of it. But all that is useless as people judge you on how competent you are in doing your job. So far, Aljunied-Hougang MPs have shown their worth. What happened to YSL was unfortunate, but WP will bounce back. They have more high-claibre candidates in their ranks to fill the vacancy.
By the way, what happened to Frida Chan? She has stayed quiet even after the Chinese media reported that she was one of YSL's women.

When was the place managed ?
The recent speech in the house show how detached the talents are with the real world.
The 1000 income flat.
Yes, on paper but in reality, can it be done ?
He want to win it, not to do it asap.
Maybe he should nominate his son for the post.
I think PAP will lose the Hougang by election. I don't think they can win.
PAP has no enthusiasm whatsoever about holding Hougang by election because they also know they cannot win.

Maybe they will win with a 80% majority vote.
That's why Worker's Party won the vote during the GE 2011.
I doubt by-election will produce a drastic change of votes. Traditionally, Hougang has always been WP's stronghold, I have difficulties seeing how an overnight scandal will sway the allegiance of voters in a country fraught with conservative temperament.
Incumbent party can win back hougang.

WP is currently the incumbent party in HGN. PAP can be considered opposition in that ward.
Close fight this time round?
Or maybe they won't have by election because ground not sweet yet?
Any idea potential month for by election?

It set the open court hearing for 16 April.
The application was made by 42-year-old part-time cleaner, Madam Vellama Marie Muthu.
Cleaner also knows these things.
Life is surreal.
