Desmond Choo say choosing MP is like choosing wife, if your wife is unable to cook, there's no point. You must choose a wife who is able to look after you and do things for you.
So why is PAP secretary general working so hard? The husband already worked so hard in Temasek.
what they are after is narrower margins...a good improvement of votes ...and his KPI is up...even if DC were to lose again....
but that would spell danger if DC votes were to increase....and WP must work extra hard to retain their position in 2016...
they are trying to emulate Potong Pasir episode...
Th SDP under Chiam See Tong was the best opposition, until Chee Soon Juan was recruited. CSJ practically decimated the SDP.
Now the WP is slowly building up its stature, but sadly it has enemies within.

i dont know if its something negative, but that situation is better than rounding up your opponents on trumped up charges, send them to jail under ISA laws or even sue the heejeebeez out of everyone

We voting. We are not asking them to compete in a race.
If based on running speed, I think SAA can supply the best candidates. Better than Desmond Choo I'll say.
PM Lee urges Hougang voters to make a fresh start
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has weighed in on the Hougang by-election
and called on voters there to make a fresh start by voting for People's
Action Party candidate Desmond Choo, who will work with the Government
to improve their lives.
In an e-mailed reply to questions from the media, Mr Lee also said that
while he fully understands the desire for alternate voices in
Parliament, 'the quality of the voices counts, and not just the
quantity'.
He was responding to the Workers' Party's point that the Hougang seat
matters to the opposition party because winning it would increase their
presence in Parliament by 20 per cent.
In his reply on Thursday, Mr Lee said: 'Whether one more MP, PAP or
opposition, makes a difference depends not on the percentage increase
that he represents to his side, but on his integrity, commitment and
ability.'
So many problems in sg.
Haiz.
there are always problems but are there solutions?
