The incumbent party has a lot to deal with in this election.
The opposition parties are coming in hard and fast in all directions.

Interesting article.
What struck me was the last line:
"Recall that in Singapore’s exacting meritocracy, we are taught the virtues of competition from the time we are toddlers. Students fight it out for the best grades. Our free-market economy is lauded for promoting the fittest companies.
When it comes to politics, however, Singaporeans are suddenly told that we should forget competition, and instead embrace a monopoly.
Isn’t that odd?"
The relentless influx of foreigners is a major talking point among the participants of a ‘Live’ forum conducted by Channel News Asia with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
A participant asked PM Lee if foreigners are ‘integrating’ well into Singapore society to which he replied that the PAP regime is ‘controlling’ the rate of influx of foreigners and ‘monitoring’ how well they are integrating into local society.
PM Lee added that the People’s Association, a PAP-affiliated organization has been charged of helping the new citizens ‘integrate’ and some of them have joined the RCs as grassroots leaders.
Due to the PAP’s ultra-liberal and pro-foreigner policies, foreigners now make up 40 percent of Singapore’s population, up from 14 percent in 1990.
A rising number of PRs and new citizens are joining the PAP grassroots organizations which according to PAP strongman Lee Kuan Yew, are ‘all part of the PAP.’
Despite widespread opposition to the PAP’s immigration policies, PM Lee is adamant that foreigners are ‘essential’ to Singapore’s economic growth. The PAP has aimed to increase Singapore’s population to 6.5 million people via immigration in ten years’ time.
The next election may be the last window of opportunity for native Singaporeans to reclaim ownership of their nation after which they will surely be relegated to being second class citizens to be dominated by the PAP and the hordes of foreigners it is mass importing to replace them.
TS's note : I once again must emphasize the above red bolded underlined part. It's the reason why i started this thread right?
