It is one month away, if the prediction is accurate.
Opposition need to work to provide sustenance for their families, not like the deep pockets of PAP.
most of the opposition leaders r lawyer, doctorates, big-shot businessmen.... know where im going? how deep their pockets r...

Wow...that is really very very near.
Is it true that SBW GRC may get split up? Our dear health minister seems to be hinting so.
Lots of positive news everyday.
If not for the rising crime reports, you might think we live in Disneyland.

Next year.
All the bad news come out.
Pay and pay.
Pay and Pay is one thing, but also we will become minority in our own country, do you want that? charlize what do you have to say about this?
Vote for them again and be screwed again for the next five years… difference is, they won’t need to pretend to care anymore.
Seems very quiet recently... still no news on the date?
If TR's earlier rumours of 11th and 18th dec on elections was right, maybe we shall hear some TV news by next friday.
They just used our freaking taxpayer's money to pay the civil servants an extra month's bonus....furthering the cause of the party or genuine concern for the people?
Reason they gave was the 15% GDP growth.....but come on la....if your past year's GDP is shitty bottom then a 15% growth relative to that is nothing la. And basically our exported oriented economy is subjected to the fortunes of the world, not so much the effort of PAP ministers.
No way so fast la, must be May 7 2011 as it is Saturday?
Mark my words, I think the most likely election date is after Chinese New Year / Valentine Day.
Most likely next year, between March and May.

No ang pows = no vote for PAP.

PM Lee hints of Singapore election date
Posted: 28 November 2010 1241 hrs
Speaking at the
People's Action Party's conference on Sunday, he said the elections are
due before the next party conference.
The PAP usually holds its
annual party conference in November.
Mr Lee added that when the
elections are called, the party should focus on key issues, and these
are sustaining Singapore's prosperity, improving the lives of all
Singaporeans, nurturing a new leadership team, and keeping Singaporeans
united and cohesive.
Mr Lee also told the party conference that
leadership renewal will be another key issue in the next General
Election.
He said the party has made an enormous effort, hunting
for promising candidates here and also among Singaporeans who are
overseas.
Tea sessions were held with more than 240 people and
the Secretary General's Committee had interviewed more than 40 people.
Mr
Lee said the party has found good people including potential office
holders, branch activists, members from the Young PAP and the women's
wing and also young unionists.
Mr Lee said he is confident of
presenting a first-class slate of candidates when the moment comes. When
elected, there will be enough talent to form the nucleus of the next
generation of leaders, he said.

It is as good as not saying anything.
He, like his father, think that Singaporeans are daft, don't know when the election will be called.
We already know high chance it will be called between March and May 2011. Still want to remain so secretive about the date.
Even if he announced the date at the last minute, PAP is not going to win big this time, be prepared to lose more seats to the opposition.
