SINGAPORE /PRNewswire/ -- Local corporate benefits technology startup Rewardz has signed with a slew of insurance providers to create a healthcare technology platform targeted at group insurance end-users.
The developers of HR benefits platform EMPerks and corporate fitness platform Flabuless looks to influence corporate health and wellness in a big way, by offering its technology through its group insurance partners to enhance preventive healthcare initiatives that ultimately reduce medical costs and reduces staff downtime due to illness and ailments.
"The group insurance industry presents an excellent opportunity for us to roll out a unique, content-rich and technologically advanced corporate wellness platform," said Rewardz CEO Sudhanshu Tewari.
The mobile-ready Flabuless platform has drawn keen interest from the group insurance industry such as Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore Ltd., who is working on an exclusive arrangement with Rewardz to offer this platform to their selected customer segments; Lockton Companies (Singapore) Pte Ltd; as well as Mercer (Singapore) Pte Ltd, who has added Flabuless into its Mercer Marsh Benefits corporate health benefits solution.
Mercer's Product Development Leader, Foong Foong Cheong adds, "With Flabuless, employees are motivated to adopt health-conscious behaviors which in the long run are contributing factors to reducing lifestyle-related risks of heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and cancer."
Rewardz has taken on more than 30 clients over the last two years, including AETOS Holdings Pte Ltd, Schenker Singapore Pte Ltd, Crocs Singapore Pte Ltd, and National University Hospital Pte Ltd with their flagship EMPerks corporate perks platform. Its Flabuless mobile app has also been adopted by corporations such as Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and Lendlease.
Rewardz is also looking to expand its footprint through regional and global partnerships, and its Flabuless platform is on track to be available in Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Dubai and Peru by the end of this year.
