Major industry players such as Baker Hughes, Pfizer, Stone & Webster, Celanese, Foster Wheeler and Invista were invited to the awards ceremony at the Swissotel Hotel on July 17.
Presented by the WSH Council and supported by the Ministry of Manpower, the awards recognize organizations and individuals who have contributed to achieving excellence in workplace safety and health. The Performance Award gives recognition to companies or organizations that have performed well in safety and health through the implementation of sound safety and health management systems. This is the second health and safety recognition for CH2M HILLSingapore following receiving the Gold Award for RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards on May 2012.
Guest of Honor, Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister of State for Manpower congratulated CH2M HILL Singapore Pte Ltd on its success and encouraged them to maintain efforts to achieve continued excellence in WSH performance and practices.
