This project is a significant testament to our commitment in lighting up retail spaces as we move towards illuminating more retail developments such as shopping malls and leisure hubs," says Emmanuel Clair, Group CEO of Light Cibles.
The lighting design employs sustainable, organic architecture principles, combining metal halide downlights with fluorescent lights and LED lighting to achieve the intended illuminance level and an average of 8 watts/m2.
"Developers are often keen on sustainable designs these days, and the lighting of the retails spaces need to be planned out carefully as it combines both electricity usage consideration as well as factors to attract visitors to the mall. This involves a well thought-out blueprint to the lighting of these retail spaces that will meet the expectations of developers, retailers and visitors in general," Clair continued.
Light Cibles is acclaimed for its expertise in architectural lighting design. Most recently, the firm lit a number of Singapore landmarks during the Formula One Grand Prix Race in Singapore.
