A projector burst into flames at a lecture theatre at National university of Singapore this afternoon.
No one was injured in the incident that took place in Lecture Theatre 7A at the Kent Ridge Campus.
Mr Peter Yeo, who were among some 100 students in the auditorium for the engineering physics lecture, said they were just six minutes into it when the screen went blank.
"There was a pop sound, and there was smoke, so the lecturer asked us to leave," said the 21-year-old student.
Feng shui there no good...
Place is full of heat, trapped fire element which cannot escape.
Which is why projector caught fire, student too heaty then need to make out to put out the fire, student too heaty and think that sleep with prof for better grades...
old equipments
projectors spoil easily when over-used. Plus it is usually enclosed in NUS lecture theatres :x
Is there no fire extinguisher around the lecture theatre ?
Why is there TWO goons taking photos of the fire and not fighting the fire ?
Are they waiting for NUS to burn down ?
What is the NUS students doing ? Waiting for SCDF to appear so that they can film the fire fighting and put it on You Tube ?
