Is there anyone here in this forum from Faculty of Science studying Maths? Just wondering if below average grades like A for maths and D for both physics & chemistry will get me in? And how is the course like in there? Challenging? Stressful?
I doubt earning 2 Ds in your A Levels (H2 subjects) would get you to any faculty in NTU or NUS. And if your sciences are so weak, why are you interested in pursuing a career in it? Maybe your forte lies in some other field - business, humanities etc?
I have thought of studying business before but it is too competitive. I really want to study maths, since my maths is rather good. Just afraid that I would get rejected again next year because of my awful science grades...
How about NIE Maths?
The thing is, I don't really want to go into teaching maths. By the way, are you in FOS studying maths? How is it like in there?
Im still serving my National Service. But I have already secured a place in NUS FOS. I plan to do a major in chem and a minor in physics.
Whoa... That's cool. By the way, what grades did you get? If you don't mind me asking...
My results -
H2 Chem, H2 Phy, H2 Maths, PW - A
GP - B
H1 Hist - C
Are u still in jC?
Wow! That is impressive. Makes me regret playing too much & not studying harder back then. I'm also serving national service now...
Faculty of Science is pretty easy to get in. Not as competitve compared to Dentistry, Medicine and Law.
