I am sure many of us here has been to National Library (NLB) as well as our very own library.
One thing that frustrates me is that NLB does not allow us to bring in our own textbooks. Even for notes, it cannot exceed a certain thickness, which is determined by the librarian according to his/her own judgement.
So what is the purpose of the NLB if we cannot bring in our own notes / text?
While the NLB is equiped with the latest equipment to prevent stealing, it still function as though it has no such equipment. In contrast, our very own library allows us to bring in even our whole bag. What is the rational for this?
I guess it's bcos they scared we guys take up too much study space at the expense of the more leisure kind of readers?
